Job description

Reporting directly to the Team Leader R&D, the main responsibilities will be:

  • Planning, Organizing and coordinating R&D projects from the design stage to completion;
  • Organization of project Quick-Off Meetings;
  • Liaising directly with customers and internal stakeholders;
  • Ensuring compliance of technical criteria, quality, costs and deadlines;
  • Participation in internal and/or external audits;
  • Ensuring the regular and qualitative completion of project documentation, as well as updating data in the ERP and FMEA, etc.

Profile

The Project Engineer (M/F/D) supervises, plans, organizes and coordinates a research and development project from its conception phase through to completion. They are responsible for all phases of the project until its completion, both to the customer and to internal parties, in compliance with given technical, quality, cost and deadline criteria.

 

DESCRIPTION OF THE MAIN SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES

  • When the project is assigned to their scope of intervention, they conduct a study of the customer input data and the technical file, and take into account the rating data transmitted by their management;
  • They identify the resources allocated to the project internally in the Design Office and in the departments involved (purchasing, quality, trade, industrialization, methods, supply chain, machining, etc.);
  • They organize an internal project kick-off meeting.
     

 

WHAT WE´RE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for candidates with a background and knowledge in Mechanical Engineering or similar and experience in project management as well as quality tools. You must have knowledge of 3D design software (CREO). Experience in the automotive sector is an asset. Proficiency in English (verbal and written) is mandatory and proficiency in French is recommended. We are looking for a dynamic person with team spirit. Autonomy, adaptability and organization, willingness to learn, as well as good communication are some of the skills desired for this role.
