Industrialization Project Engineer (M/F/D) develops and implements projects related to the industrialization of Bontaz products for a given scope of intervention. They are responsible for all phases of the project, from its conception phase through to completion, to internal and external stakeholders, in compliance with given technical, quality, cost and deadline criteria.

The Industrialization Project Engineer (M/F/D) works under the responsibility of the Manager of the department they are attached to and acts in a functional capacity with project stakeholders. They operate within a specified scope.

The Industrialization Project Engineer (M/F/D) works hand-in-hand with project stakeholders, whether internal or external to the Bontaz Group. They are the key contact person as regards relationships and exchanges about project aspects.

DESCRIPTION OF THE MAIN SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES

• When the project is assigned to their scope of intervention, they collect specifications and, failing this, draw up and disseminate specifications in order to carry out an initial calibration of the project and an initial diagnosis of its feasibility;
• They optimally assess the time, material, human and financial resources required;
• They identify the various parties involved in the project;
• They ensure resources are allocated to the project in agreement with their management;
• They structure the project, define the phases, the operating rules, the deadlines, and the monitoring methods given the constraints defined, in collaboration with the stakeholders;
• They identify the risks inherent in the project and the choices envisaged and, where appropriate, implement the action plan to cover the risks identified;
• They monitor the progress of the projects and ensure the activities of the various stakeholders are coordinated;
• They conduct meetings at a minimum according to a defined internal process and, if necessary, complement this with additional meetings;
• They take part in the different internal and customer or supplier audits and, if appropriate, lead them;
• They contribute to and ensure the regular and qualitative production of project documentation;
• They prioritize project tasks to ensure project portfolios are managed optimally hand-in-hand with their management;
• If appropriate, they draw up the change support plan, work with support staff to develop mechanisms to help change, roll out or supervise their rollout, ensure they are effective and implement corrective actions if necessary.

WHAT WE´RE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for candidates with a background and knowledge in Mechanical Engineering or similar and experience in project management as well as quality tools. Experience in the automotive sector is an asset. Proficiency in English (verbal and written) is mandatory and proficiency in French is recommended. We are looking for a dynamic person with team spirit. Autonomy, adaptability and organization, willingness to learn, as well as good communication are some of the skills desired for this role.
